What is coaching?

Coaching is a non-directive process where we focus on the areas of your life that you want to see some change. At its simplest coaching supports you to do your best thinking, to allow you to move forwards with your hopes and aspirations. Sometimes this will be in the form of slowing down, reflecting, and noticing the new awareness you have gained about yourself or your situation, sometimes it will be action driven and you will choose to take practical steps.

My role is to listen, challenge and support you to move beyond your current thinking.

I will answer any questions and you can see how it feels to be coached by me. I promise there won’t be any hard sell because:

  1. Nobody likes a hard sell and;

  2. It would be counter intuitive to the process. If after a chat you don’t feel that coaching is right for you or that I am the right coach for you that is fine. Similarly, if I feel I cannot offer you value or that you would be better served by a different coach I will say so.
